Branded Gifts to Appeal to the 5 Senses
Sight, sound, taste, touch, and smell. Branded gifts that appeal to the five senses can lead to a large impact upon receipt. The next time you plan to hand out gifts, whether for the holidays, anniversaries, or employee & client appreciation, take into consideration how your gift might go a step above!
We’ve chosen what we believe are the top items that appeal to each of the five senses:
1. Candles
Candles are an elegant gift that appeal to the sense of smell! They provide feelings of relaxation and tranquility. As gifts, they have a range of lower cost choices, such as small tin candles, to middle range choices, such as medium metal or glass containers, to high-end choices, such as a laser engraved concrete. They are ideal in the mid- to high-range as executive and top client gifts.
2. Blankets
Blankets are a gift that keeps on giving. They’re popular around the holidays and are ideal for an embroidered logo! Blankets appeal to the sense of touch, and a soft blanket is something that no one would be disappointed to receive. They tend to cost a bit more, but we believe they are worth it. Perry Office Plus has gifted three different types of blankets in just the past several years! Both employees and clients love them. This Economy Fleece Blanket is only about $13-$15 and can be dressed up with a bit of ribbon, while this Sherpa Blanket can run over $60 each! There are, of course, plenty of options in between, and we are happy to work with your budget to find something you will love!
3. Earbuds, Headphones & Speakers
Here’s some “sound” advice: earbuds, headphones & speakers appeal to the sense of sound! Plus, they’re gifts with a high-perceived value, but you can get them at shockingly great costs (of course, that doesn’t mean we can’t find higher-end ones if that’s in your budget!) Great for listening to music at the office, the gym, or when out and about, or to make taking conference calls simpler, these tech products can suit almost anyone!
4. Sunglasses/Blue Light Glasses
The sense of sight is incredibly important, so the eyes should be protected! If you have employees or clients who spend most of their days in front of the computer, then blue light blocking glasses might be a great, low-cost branded gift to consider. If you host or attend outdoor events, such as golf tournaments, races, our block parties, then a pair of sunglasses are a popular giveaway item.
5. Food Gifts
Is there anything sweeter (or saltier, or savory-er?) than getting a delicious treat for the holidays? There’s a food gift for everyone, and while you do need to be aware of potential food allergies, even if the client themselves can’t enjoy the treat, someone they know can, and they can still be thankful and/or impressed with your custom gift! Appeal to their sense of taste with and endless variety of mouth-watering food/drink gifts.
We recommend keeping in mind that the packaging food comes in is usually disposable, but you can combat this with something like a wooden, laser-engraved box, or by making your gift something special to hold onto, such as an imprinted wine bottle (with an imprinted flute!). We’ve also recently been obsessed with custom engraved chocolate (available in all shapes and sizes)! We can’t guarantee they’ll last long, but they’re the type of thing to make you say “WOW!” and snap a photo of to share.
Food gifts tend to lean toward the higher-end of the price range, but we can work with you to find something perfect in your budget!
