Perry Office Plus President Named to Industry ‘40 Under 40‘
H.B. Macey, co-owner and President of Perry Office Plus in Temple, has been named to the ’40 Under 40’ list in Office Products International, the leading publication for the office products industry.
The list was published in OPI’s October/November issue and says the list is comprised of individuals “who are impressing their companies -- and our industry -- with their work ethic and achievements."
The article cited Mr. Macey’s dedication and long tenure with the company as the basis for his nomination to the list, including being promoted to Sales Manager in 2014 and the growth the company has experienced since that time, especially in the janitorial category.
Macey was named President in 2021, adding a laundry/warewash and floor equipment division during the same year. He and his wife Lynnsay purchased the business from his retiring parents in 2021.
“It’s an honor to be recognized by our industry and I’m among great company on this list,” Mr. Macey said of his inclusion. “I want to thank our team at Perry for making our company so successful by doing a great job and taking care of our customers every day. I couldn’t do what I do without them.”
H.B. Macey is a 2010 graduate of Texas A&M University, is on the Temple Chamber of Commerce Board of Directors, the Belton Education Enrichment Foundation Board, and is a member of the Temple Rotary Club. He is on the Independent Suppliers Group NEXT Committee, and was presented with the 2022 North American Office Products Awards’ Young Executive of the Year accolade.
Since opening its doors in 1920 as a small print shop, Perry Office Plus has grown into the largest independent workplace solutions provider in Central Texas. The Temple, Texas-based company offers office and school essentials, custom printing, branded promotional products, complete janitorial solutions, and laundry and warewash supplies. Their workplace furniture division provides space planning, design support, project management, and professional installation for projects of any size. The company employes more than 40 people, delivers daily to most of Central Texas and the Brazos Valley, and ships to 25 states.
